Getting There

Grand County and Winter Park have excellent transportation alternatives.

Driving Directions

This site's Map / Locations option provides a map of the property. For driving directions, use this link and enter your starting location. Here are door-to-door driving distances between the rental and these locations:

  • 0.9 miles - Winter Park downtown
  • 3.5 miles - Winter Park Resort base
  • 6.6 miles - Mary Jane entrance
  • 28 miles - I-70 (across Berthoud Pass)
  • 90 miles - Denver International Airport

Under good conditions, it takes about 90 min to drive to the airport.

Please note that driving across Berthoud Pass (US 40) can be problematic in the winter. Check advisories in advance; chains and AWD or 4WD are advisable or may be required if crossing the pass during snow storms.

Denver / DIA Shuttle

There are a variety of shuttle services from Denver and Denver International Airport:

Amtrak

Amtrak provides daily passenger service to the Fraser Valley with stops in Fraser and Granby. General schedules are:

  West East
Depart Fraser to morning afternoon
Arrive Fraser from afternoon morning

Contact Amtrak directly by Web site or phone (800-872-7245) for specific times and travel conditions. It is not unusual to have schedule delays in the winter.

Granby/Grand County Airport

Charters (via JetCharters) and private plane service are available from the Grand County Airport.
